HAVING A POSITIVE VIEW TO ONLINE MARKETING

Can't drive traffic to my website? Does that statement sound familiar? Websites on the Internet have become lost in the sheer expansion of the Web. Everyone is clamouring for attention, and searching for that "HOLY GRAIL" to get traffic to their site. Webmasters are constantly looking for ways to generate more targeted traffic. But having a positive view to online marketing can make a difference between success and failure.
Online marketing can be very challenging, especially if you are a newbie and don't have an advertising budget. Marketing online is much different from offline marketing. With off line marketing the method employed to reach your targeted audience remains fixed, meaning the principle will always remain the same. But it is far different with online marketing.
Knowing the dilemma all marketer face, the big question is how can I have a positive view to online marketing when I can't drive traffic to my site? A survey that was done on a number of online marketers shows that about 75% of advertisement does not bring in any results. Classified sites, FFA, blasting emails sites, submitting to search engines, and buying opti-in listing have not proven fruitful, and just adding to your frustration.
What about paid advertisement? As mentioned before testing and testing is what your marketing promotion is all about. With paid advertisement, you may not get the result you wanted. ( ROI - Return on investment). This means the capital you put out may not necessarily bring you back your investment .The fact remains, some measure of success can be obtained from paid advertisement. But how can a person with limited or no advertising budget get started? Indeed a serious problem. The staggering fact remain, there are million of people are online. Just 5% of those visitors with no advertising budget is however possible. This can be achieve by publishing your very own ezine, get involve in Joint Venture partnerships, and writing good informative articles. Each of these will be discuss in subsequent articles
Remember online marketing unlike offline marketing calls for testing and testing strategies in-order to reach your targeted audience. Marketing strategies that may have worked a few months ago will not work today. In fact information becomes outdated in a relatively short time. Marketing courses and reports has become outdated before it even reaches the bookshelves. Pay attention to this statement, marketing courses by way of e-books and reports, if were valuable, with up to date information, would not be given away for free on many websites. Therefore don't be fool by information that is given away for free.
Having a positive view will help you stay focus, knowing that with hard work and dedication will result in harvesting that gold nugget.
